There is NO CHIT CHATTING while you workout! By taking too long of breaks you allow your muscles to recover too much. The HARDER you work the FASTER you make PROGRESS!
REST: Your rest duration should be kept to 30-45 seconds in between sets.
WEIGHT: It is recommended to choose a weight that is challenging for you! The weight should be moderately challenging at the start of the set and become more challenging as you get to the last 3-5 reps. If you can do the whole 12-15 reps without struggle then the weight is TOO LIGHT!
**WE TRAIN SMART - The workouts are meant to be challenging, and difficult. BUT DO NOT WORRY if you can not successfully make each designated rep range per set! Each workout you are working yourself up to that point!**

Also wondering why the “at-home” shows gym equipment... I have some light weight dumbbells but not benches and stuff

So I’m so new to this. I didn’t know that I needed a bench and weights. Lol, I downloaded the at-home workout using only your body weight. I plan to do this instead and then eventually go out and get my weights and bench. Do you think this mixed with following my macros will give me results still?

Hi Shana, you can use resistance bands for the lat pulldowns. The table pull ups are the substitute for the machine pulls ups. Hope that helps.

I don’t understand why there continues to be machine exercises on the home workout options

Why are we doing push-ups on a back day?

The way I started doing hyperextensions was over there back of my chair in the living room. You could also do them over a couch.

Great idea for the hyperextensions!

And I have a suggestion! Do the extensions on an exercise ball.

I’ve asked this question many times. The home workouts require gym equipment. Every month. Seems like it would be pretty easy to have home workouts that don’t require gym equipment.

How do you do the hyper extension workout at home, do you have an alternate exercise?
